Leadership forged in the most demanding environments. Perspective built beyond them

Leadership—Speaking—Strategic Advisory—Special Operations Aviation

About

EXPERIENCE THAT TRANSLATES

For more than two decades, Ryan served in some of the most demanding organizations in the U.S. Army, including the 75th Ranger Regiment, flying Medical Evacuation Helicopters in combat (DUSTOFF), and flying and leading in the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. Those years shaped how he thinks about leadership, teamwork, trust, preparation, and what it means to perform when the stakes are real.

But they are only part of the story.

After leaving the Army, Ryan carried those lessons into healthcare administration, aerospace and defense, international business, and senior corporate leadership. Along the way, he discovered that transition is about more than translating a resume. It is about figuring out who you are when the uniform comes off, building a new sense of purpose, and learning which lessons from the past still matter.

Today, Ryan is an aerospace and defense executive, speaker, advisor, write, husband, and father. Away from work, he is just as comfortable around horses, cars, motorsports, and a barn as he is in a boardroom. His wife and daughter are his number one priorities.

Nocturne Leadership grew from all of it—the missions, the people, the mistakes, the successes, the transition, and the life that came afterward.

The goal isn’t to prescribe a formula for leadership. It’s to share hard-earned perspective, help people and organizations think differently, and have honest conversations about leadership, teamwork, transition, and purpose.
